ACADEMIC INFRASTRUCTURE
The infrastructure of an institute plays a vital role in the development of the institute as well as the students. It is important that the institute has very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state of the art equipment etc. The ease of availability of resources is the strength where DAVIM has always been excelling. The infrastructure at DAVIM is constantly monitored and updated under trained staff members of the institution. Be it physical structure of computer labs or class rooms, up-dation of soft wares, maintenance of equipments or cleanliness and maintenance of campus; all are taken care by different committees where faculty members and students together play an important role.
ICT ENABLED CLASSROOMS
Education infrastructure includes suitable spaces to learn. This is one of the most basic elements necessary to ensure access to education for all. Families and communities expect formal education and structured learning to take place in classrooms that have been designed for safety and comfort. Moreover making a classroom interactive and stimulating is key to making it a successful learning environment. Quality teaching and learning being the objective of academics is heavily focused by integrating IT based tools in the class rooms itself. The facility of internet and the overhead projectors facilitate the process of teaching learning along with white boards and display boards for in-room teaching. But access of course materials through remote devices like online digital repositories for lectures (Google class room),course materials, and digital library, online academic management systems, employing the flipped classroom concept, making use of handheld computers/ tablet computers, Smartboards is the need of the hour and DAVIM has adopted these IT based teaching learning concept.
COMPUTER LABS
Separate Computer labs are arranged as per the programs and subject areas for both undergraduate and post graduate courses. All labs are networked with LAN on star topology (with 16 port hubs) and LCDs. These labs are well equipped with Licensed Software for teaching subjects (as per university norms). Labs are equipped with printers to help students take printouts after completing their assignments. Advanced lab is equipped with Smartboard, Microphones, Speakers, Webcams also to facilitate English language learning software and screen cast videos of DAVIM faculty. It also has internet facility on all computers for online tests of IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorials and video conferencing.
GYAN GANGA (LIBRARY)
Continued excellence of DAVIM students and their University positions are exemplary and are mainly accomplished by the strength and support of library which is well organized, systematic, equipped with latest content both in physical as well as in electronic form. “Vidya Library Management Software” is the really helpful tool used as Library Management Software. VLMS is a Web based system which is having user friendly interface, reliability, easy to customize, wide range features, and gives high level of security. Staff and students may access book availability 24/7 from anywhere. Computers of all the four library halls are well connected with Local Area Network (Star topology). The library is well equipped with more than 50,000 books, 55 periodical national and international journals, 39 weekly/monthly magazines both in physical as well as electronic form.

DELNET : ON-LINE RESOURCE REPOSITORY
DAVIM avails the services of DELNET, an online resource repository which provides an array of library services on-line. The faculty and students avail the services through library membership only. DELNET collects, stores, and disseminates information besides offering computerized services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible. DELNET'S relentless efforts in resource sharing have proved extremely effective.

Search - On-line Public Access facility allows search based on book details, faculty details, and student details. This e-cataloguing is essential as well as a quality tool for higher education, the VLMS.
Information Board – Information Board is constantly updated with content to encourage students to read beyond their curriculum.
Counter - Computerized Book circulation counter is made available to issue, return and renewal of books.
Coordination –Coordination with faculty is both a constant and multidisciplinary approach adhered to by library department for its up gradation.
1 It interacts with faculty for adding new editions of journals, books, books for special references, both for the curriculum and beyond.
2 It promotes the culture of Publisher – Faculty interaction wherein faculty can recommend complementary copies and publish their own books. This coordination is an important culture which has promoted and resulted in good publications and strengthened their instruction, research and extension.
STAFF ROOM FACILITIES
Every Department / HODs and coordinators has been provided with computer with LAN / Internet facility. Depending upon the requirement, departments are provided with Printer / printer with scanner. This creates a complete networked system for quick information interchange.
TARANG AUDITORIUMFully AC Auditorium is a big Hall with large stage and LCD projection facilitates with 250+ seating capacity. It is effectively used for inter college programs, students’ presentations, induction programs of new entrants, farewell, environment awareness programs, FDPs and for national as well as international conferences.
YOJNA (CONFERENCE ROOM)
Fitted with OHP and wi-fi, this room is available for group talks, sessions of visiting companies for training and recruitment and Group discussions and mock sessions for preparing students for interviews. This room is equipped with the suitable furniture to hold interviews of students as well as small group meetings of faculty.
